Microsoft has this evening released the fourth and possibly final beta release of Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 to testers: The Internet Explorer Team is pleased to deliver the fourth beta release of Internet Explorer 6 SP 1! In this release are all IE 6 security patches up to and including the security patch released on May 15th which addresses Microsoft Security Bulletin MS02-023. If you are looking for areas to focus on, we would like any feedback you could provide regarding the use of apps with build 2800.1041. | ||

actually windows 6.0 will be 2005 2006 at the earlies. unless the bump up longhorn. ;)

Don't know realest.
I would like to see better support for XSLT and XSL. Improved support for the CSS standards. Imroved support For Xschema and a few other nicieties such as better PNG support, MATHML, SVG and XHTML support. but those are minor things:) Mozilla 1.0 supports some of those. Of course a fully capable Xlinks browser support would be nice also RDF implementation. Still plenty the browser doesn't do and most of them XML standards based. El |

Heck, maybe we should just wait for IE 10 ? What I want to see, in addition to the security roll-ups, are serious improvements in stability. My main gripe about IE6 is the loss in stability you get when moving from IE5. IE6 has easily been the most trouble-prone version of IE I've used. 5.0/5.01 have been the most stable, and the fastest. Well Mozilla is the Open Source arm of Netscape and 98% of the code is by Netscape programmers. (if you go thorugh the bug list on mozilla you will see most of the checkins are by Netscape employees) So is a ripoff of Mozilla. of course Mozilla is netscape. El |
