Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP Service Pack 1 Available | |

Microsoft has just released an update for its addon program: Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP. This update includes new Plus! CD Label Maker templates and Plus! Speaker Enhancement speaker profiles. It also fixes minor issues with Plus! MP3 Audio Converter and Plus! screen savers, discovered since the release of Plus! for Windows XP. This will update your version 1.00.00.0554 of Plus! for Windows XP to version 1.00.01.0732. Pick your language below to start your download: | ||

| This did nothing for me, it asked for my Plus for XP disk and did nothing. My version number is 1.00.00.0536. Am i nuts here or what? |

| Oh I did not know that. It was one a friend gave me to check out and I do not ever really use it. So I never went and got my own. Just curious to see if the update made it anymore worth it. Guess not. |

No-go on the English version, just a series of Error 1904's ("failed to register") pretty deep into the patching process. Aborting rolls it back nicely. This post was edited by rseiler on Saturday, May 25, 2002 at 14:25. |

It's a shame they didn't include added features to make it worth the $40 they took from me when I bought it.
I've never wanted to return a software package so bad, but as with many stores I couldn't :( Plus! XP is poster-child for borrowing and testing before purchasing. TL |
