| New Quicktime plugin? Woohoo! Yeah, I wonder what the new features are? Perhaps it crashes and hoses your system 20% faster than Quicktime 4? |

| Hey brainiac #4! If you'd actually try Windows Media Player 7.0, you'd quickly realize that it plays just a few more newer video formats than AVI. And, AVI is only for backwards compatibilty. |

| #4,5: Um, Quicktime is a piece of crashy, buggy junk, even on Mac. It only has decent quality with the Sorenson codec, and even then, only if you manage to keep it from crashing for more than 10 straight contiguous seconds. MPEG 4 is nearly better in all respects, not to mention it WORKS which is a feature in and of itself. |

| Of course you have to buy a new registration key...did you think that one key would give you access to FREE QuickTime Pro updates FOREVER?!?! Of course that would be nice but that’s not how business runs. For everything that QuickTime delivers – the highest quality streaming audio and video, the nicest interface, great content, and killer cross-platform digital video - $30 is a bargain! Have you ever watched a streaming video clip in Windows Media Player and then watched a QuickTime streaming video right after to compare? Windows media is choppy, pixilated, and overall not that great. RealPlayer is a little better but not by much. QuickTime is a complete digital media solution whereas WMP and RealPlayer are merely players with very basic streaming capabilities. They don’t come close to the power and quality of QuickTime. |

| Actually, Apple, like Real Networks, only charges for the Pro version which includes editing, saving, and other enhanced functionality. The QT Player is available for FREE. Check your facts before you think that QT is going to die because of $30 :-) |

| I stopped using quicktime because it kept asking me to upgrade. Oh well :-) |
