A brace of "fatal errors" is hampering Windows 7-based computers that have been updated with Microsoft's first service pack for its current operating system. In fact, since Windows 7 SP1 was released late last month, many users have been grumbling on forums about problems with the install of the update package. | ||

| Since Windows 7 has system image software built into the "Backup and Restore" app, there is no reason for anyone to get upset except with themselves when an update installation goes bonkers. The darn thing works as advertised. |

| #2: Pardon? If I install SP1 and it hoses my system, I have a perfectly valid reason for being upset at MS even if I have a backup. |
