Microsoft wants to call their app store an App Store, but Microsoft wants to call their app store an App Store, but Apple thinks different. The term, used by Apple for almost as long as the iPhone has been around, is a registered Apple trademark. Microsoft, on the other hand, finds the term “app store” to be completely generic and not subject to trademark control. | ||

"App Store" is so not Microsoft. It should be called:
Microsoft Application Sales Repository Server 2011. That we all understand. |

| #1: I still don't understand your translation. Would you kindly add more words so there are at least 20 syllables in your MS-speak revision of the "app store" name? That will very likely produce a more completely comprehensible product or service description to each and every one of us that utilize Microsoft Corporation operating systems, Windows Live cloud based services, software applications, X-Box, etc. |

| #5: The USPTO initially rejected MS's attempt to trademark 'Windows' on the first two tries. The third time was the charm, apparently. |
