Microsoft to offer European users browser choice | |

As of Monday users will be able to select an alternative browser from a pop-up menu or opt to stick with Internet Explorer. According to Microsoft, this "browser choice screen" will present users with a list of leading browsers -- including Mozilla's Firefox, Apple's Safari and Google's Chrome -- presented in random order, in keeping with its agreement with the European Commission. | ||

The EC/EU are a bunch of fools. Do people really care about this browser crap?
Oh ya. The latest has it that since the way the "ballot" is formated, you only see the top 5 browsers and not the seven other [you have to scroll down]. At least 6 of those 7 software developers are complaining to the EC that no one will notice them. I don't even recognize 4-5 of those browsers. will anyone care? |
