I love BeeJive's outlook on it. I'd have to say their software royally sucks in it's view about Windows Mobile development in the past. Sadly it's all I have to use on my temporary iPhone to allow instant messaging push tech.
And to the Kinoma guy. "Windows Mobile easier for users to navigate" It stands to reason his entire market just dried up. The silverlight argument may be valid but I'll be very surprised to see this "new" Microsoft not deliver on Silverlight Performance on it's mobile devices. It is something they've made huge strides in lately and regardless of it starting on the desktop I'd have to imagine they'll make it work right on their phone OS. Honestly just like comparing WinMo 6.53- to WinMo 7+ is apples to oranges. So will be the developer experience in WinMo 7. It's painfully obvious they have a completely different attitude about it's Mobile OS's and I'm sure that won't exclude developer support/tools. |
