Does the author of the review not realize that at least 90% of the features touted are built into Windows7?
Work, Home, Airport - etc - your notebook will know what printers to use, what security and firewall settings to set, etc. Can the reviewer could maybe go over the features that are not redundant to Win7, also note any that might fight with Windows7's new features. Network and location awareness was a 'twinkle' in the conceptual eye of Vista, but a very alive and hardy feature of Win7, especially for travelers like myself. |

while not directly related, a new Windows 7 feature for mobile users, is native support, without third party software, for air-cards (including both internal and external devices).
This is especially nice and works with most Verizon EVDO 3G PCI Express Cards we build into many of our laptops. Similarly, Windows 7 is able to share this connection with other wireless devices, like the mobile phones and laptops others are carrying and travelling with the Windows 7 user - obviating any need for the purchase of costly solutions carriers are offering and advertising. We have found that using built-in Windows 7 features and avoiding often buggy third-party software greatly enhances user experiences and reduces the surface area one has to maintain, or secure from attack. |

#1: Does the author of the review not realize that at least 90% of the features touted are built into Windows7?
Why does his review of a standalone product need to be in the context of Windows 7? Not everything is about Windows 7, despite all the hoopla. Not everybody is running it, and I doubt the reviewer wrote this to act as a driver to Win7 adoption or an advert for Win7 of any kind. You could have just pointed out that Win7 has these features instead of trying to make the reviewer look stupid. |

Anything... ANYTHING has to be better than Lenovo Access connections :)
I just use the standard Intel switcher. It works just dandy. |
