The latest private beta build version 2463.52 of Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, the long awaited, upcoming new version of the well known Microsoft web browser has just leaked onto the Web. Originally posted by Savage news this pirate build is spreading over the internet like fire. Anyway we won't give any donwload links for obvious legal reasons since this beta isn't public. Update!: Thanks to Greg for news on these new features: "What it does add is the Privacy (Cookie) feature now works for 3rd Party Cookies. By default all 3rd Party Cookies are blocked but you can change it by clicking on the Privacy Report area that appears on the Status Bar at the bottom of the Browser window. Internet Options - Privacy Tab also has Medium High and Medium Low as new options." | ||

| Well new icons are bundled with IE 6 since it was integrated with Windows XP. If you run IE 6 with Windows 9x you still have the same old icons. Anyway this new build comes with mainly cosmetic bug fixes and a new redesigned media player personal bar. |

| This build appears to be much better than previous ones :) Several bugs appear to have been fixed, including the uglyness of the Personal Bar (which now makes it more useful so I won't turn off HTML Explorer bars), and it appears (although I haven't tested it that much) that your toolbar settings are now remembered, as well as moving toolbars in Full screen mode works once again... The plus sign next to everything in Windows Explorer is still broken however, and MSN Hotmail (HTTP Mail) in Outlook Express appears to be disabled as well.. Overall this is a much better build :) |

| WinXP beta2 won't allow this IE build to be installed :( it says I need to upgrade to a newer build of the OS |
