It is becoming ever more obvious that it is the states' settlement that needs to be adopted, rather than the lax one proposed by the DOJ. For most of us, it was obvious even before the antitrust trial that Microsoft bundled and then integrated middleware as a means to thwart competition. The outcome of that illegal practice was a consistent loss of market share for the company's competitors. Those of us following the antitrust case assumed that Microsoft was not only aware of that outcome but actively pursued it, despite the fact that it could never be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. | ||

I know that everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, but John Campbell's opinion that he wrote is just pathetic.

| I'm not up for this discussion right now. If you don't like a news story, don't read it. When one story gets a huge number of click threws, that tells us people like reading those kinds of stories. Should we now start only posting stories that get low click threw rates? I'd love to continue this conversation with you, but I'm really not in the mood. | It made $115.000.000 in three days... thats by far a record. And it only cost (only?) 130 mil to make (not including marketing). The sequel is already underway and begins filiming in January. |

About the click through, thats my fault and shouldn't reflect on ActiveWin. I would say the same about the article, but I know a couple other people have posted their articles. If you think we are making money off of this you are wrong, no one gets paid, it's just a hobby. Way too often my friends come up and ask me about these articles. I know they are false, and I know you guys know they are false, but this is a Windows News site and I think it is my obligation to post what is being said in a serious forum about Windows/Microsoft. We all know this article is false, but when my friends come up and ask me about them I know I would like to have a heads up on what they are talking about. If you really don't like the source of an article, feel free to avoid story. But if we all turn away from stories we know are false, we will be missing a lot of what is being said about MS and therefore how the public views them. Anyway, if you have any further questions I ask you to email me them. Thanks for your time, Todd
