Andre has posted his 70-page review of Microsoft's next upcoming operating system, Windows 7. The review covers everything from accessories to Virtual XP Mode and everything in-between (26 sections total). Byron Hinson and Fernando Fhualpa have also contributed. Here is an excerpt from the executive summary: "While people asked these questions, I wanted to know, what would be the fundamental and immediate benefits? How would it build on the ease of use features that first appeared in Windows Vista? What about performance? Finally, the day of PDC 2008 arrived and people were looking forward to the first official demo of Windows 7 in months which promised to show some of the major new benefits of the operating system. And the new site IS coming...here are some of the new features to what you requested:
key points - there is an export distiller and a scheduler - so people can build their own content and schedule when they may be delivered and in what format similarly, they may have more than one, or create them on the fly so if you only want news about IIS pull all related news with what we call "Deep Links" which is off-site content pulled into their personal build You can export into these formats: PDF, HTML, MHTML Archives, and XPS alternatively, you access a variety of XML for inclusion in their own tools/apps and feed from the site Like I said, Lloyd is just working away over there.
