On the Amazon.com MAC OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard product page it shows what customers ultimately buy after viewing this item – and it shows that 75% of them head over and purchase either the Windows 7 Home premium Upgrade (50%) or the Windows 7 Professional Upgrade (25%). | ||

Also, from what I'm reading the new OSX should be a pretty solid OS. Mainly because it finally is really starting to play nicely in windows networks (more than just getting to shares). |

It's also just $29. All the Apple fanboys/girls can afford that price. No "Apple tax" there. :-)
On the other hand 10.5 to 10.6 on the Windows platform is a free upgrade. Apply keeps on monkeying around with the "OS X" to a point where they'll be at 10.9 by 2015 or so. Also note that if you search for "Snow Leopard" in the software section, 2 of the top 7 products are - you guessed it - Windows 7 upgrades! |
