The JCXP.Net Windows enthusiast site has launched a “Boycott Opera” campaign aimed at users who are unhappy over Opera’s antitrust suit against Microsoft. It was Opera’s 2007 antitrust complaint that mushroomed into the current antitrust case in the European Union over Microsoft’s browser-bundling policies. | ||

| Oh please. This has more to do with ad hits than browser boycotts. Nobody uses Opera to begin with, and those that do aren't going to care about an MS fanboy call to arms. |

The proper thing to do is boycott all European made cars bundled with stereos and tires that people could buy in the good old USA.
EU cars should only come to the USA stripped down without unecessary accessories. Let the customer choose locally made stereo equipment and tires. |

#4: Your analogy might be more apt if the EU car maker in question had a monopoly and a long history of abusing it to control the market and maintain its position. Besides, nobody but die-hard microbots gives a rat's ass anyway.
I find it sweetly ironic that people like you that are always denying any problems with MS and their monopoly abuse are now crying about how MS is being treated by a bigger monopoly. |

#4 Even the EU weren't as dishonest as you. They claim Microsoft had a "near monopoly" and made them sell a version of their OS without a media player. No one bought it.
A modern OS has features. A browser is a feature no consumer OS should be without. A modern consumer OS should not be without a media player either. |
