Vindication for anyone who ever tried to convince friends and family to switch away from Internet Explorer came this week, courtesy of a series of benchmarks showing the latest version of the browser up as an extremely poor performer. | ||

And you can still crash it with something like this:
var x = document.GetElementById("somediv"); while (true) x.innerHTML += "abc"; So much about tab isolation feature. Reported to IE team months ago. I guess some smartass said that it's by design and did nothing, just like that UAC thing.. |

I find IE8 much faster than Chrome when it opens up a folder of favorites.
And thats what I do a lot of. I don't do a lot of javascript encryption. |

| Clearly Chrome is the fastest browser. I find no perceptual difference in speed between the others. |
