Intel Application Accelerator 2.2 Released | |

Intel has just released a new version of the Application Accelerator performance software package. It works with the following OS: Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows Me, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional. This new version mainly fixes Windows XP bugs, and is dedicated to the owners of motherboards built around Intel i8xx chipset. Top features are:

I have XP Pro and my hard drive is quieter after installing App. Accelerator.. “Good Deal”

#8 - No, the RAID system is made by someone other than Intel.

Does this work on Laptops and any Intel CPU and Chipset? It has been a while since I have had an all Intel Machine and am wondering if this would do anything on my wife's Dell. Or even my 3 year old IBM laptop that has all Intel inside.
Edit: It looks as though it only works with 800 and above chipsets. So no go on the damn IBM. This post was edited by mctwin2kman on Monday, April 29, 2002 at 14:17. |
