Hey, you know I downgraded to Firefox 2 this week.
Being an Oldog I can't see small type on my computer monitor without eyestrain, but the new FF scales enlarged type the same way IE does. Which is to say that all elements of the page scale. I understand that this means that web pages now render properly at larger type fonts (with all the jpegs getting very fuzzy as they get bigger), but unless you use a wide screen monitor you're constantly scrolling side to side to read text. To me the occasional mis-rendered page is a small trade off for the greater readability of general text. I guess I'm a FF2 guy for life. |

View - Zoom - Zoom text Only. Mark that, and from then on when you use the Zoom feature it only enlarges the text.
