Over the past few days Bryant from AeroXP.org, a popular Windows enthusiasts community, has been writing a series of posts titled “The Five Pillars of Windows 7“. In these posts, predictably five in total, he reveals and discusses a lot of interesting tidbits about the next version of Windows. The information presented is highly interesting and encouraging for any Windows enthusiast, but one could easily become tangled in the web of optimism. To shed some light on the matter, the information Bryant sources actually comes from the “Windows Feedback Button” that is in the current builds of Windows 7. This tool allows users to leave their thoughts on the Windows 7 experience categorized by a list of “pillars” and “scenarios” as predefined by Microsoft. With each scenario is a brief description of what it is about. | ||

| I'm surprised MS would so quickly want to repeat the same marketing and PR that they were using for Vista... it's still fresh in everyone's mind, and not in a good way. |

| #1 - care to elaborate? Microsoft has said next-to-nothing publicly about Windows 7. This is all bloggers expanding upon stuff found in the leaked Win7 build. |

| What I found interesting, and I have read all the five articles, is that there are no indications about a new UI. I hope that it is just something they are keeping undisclosed for now but I am afraid they will not change it. |

| That's because you need to reinstall Windows fresh every 6 months, it tends to build up a lot of cruft. |
