| I thought not being able to slipstream SP1 into Vista, was common knowledge??? Did I miss something, or was all of Microsoft's documentation, announcements and knowledge base articles "just not enough" to explain the situation? |

Does this mean that a clean install of Vista SP1 on a machine already running Vista SP1RC need to be loaded with an OS on a DVD from MS? |

| oldog: MS will be making pre-baked Vista SP1 install DVD .iso images available for download that will be what we will be using, until SP2 is available. |

I sure hope so :) But, those of us with paid subscriptions to TechNet or MSDN need the damn thing posted first! This might be a mess for those of us using higher-end imaging systems (such as Lenovo's Image-Builder). We'll have to see once we get to Vista deployements, but thankfully that is about a year away. TL |
