Today, Microsoft took another step in its relationship with the open source software community. We did this by bringing up a new web property that clearly outlines Microsoft’s position on OSS by providing specific information about Microsoft, the OSS community and the interaction between the two. The new site also details information about getting started with OSS and Microsoft technologies. We'll keep the site updated with new content featuring Microsoft’s engagements with the OSS community - be that events like OSCON, partnerships, offers or just interesting articles highlighting different work we're doing across the company. Port 25 will continue to be the source for technical analysis and community with the Open Source Software Lab. | ||

| This should just about make the ideologues heads explode. After all, "open sores" is cancerous, for losers & Communists, but here's MS now with 3 different OS licenses that they'll be bringing to the OSI for approval. How times change. |

Lloyd - if you need any help moving the database or web tiers onto a *nix box just let us know, we'll be more than happy to help out. :) As for this story, I thought Microsoft already had a "Get the FUD" website? |

| Chris, Lloyd is doing an excellent job right now and has not lost any backups. He is working a ton on the new site and his workers have worked many many hours to ensure this site is up and running. |

So, let me get this right. Microsoft has tens of thousands of in-house programmers churning out terrific software and millions of programmers across the planet creating windows based programs and utilities.
Now, they are getting unemployed programmers working out of their parent's basements creating code for them too? Can open sore ever get cut a break? lol |
