On behalf of NVIDIA, the Vista Quality Assurance team would like to thank our user community for participating in the bug report system. The information you provided is valuable and will help us improve the quality and performance of our drivers. There is a new Windows Vista Beta driver release available to download from NVIDIA, v158.24. This is a new driver which will support GeForce 6, 7 and 8 series graphics boards; it does not support GeForce Go mobile GPUs. Please continue to check with your notebook manufacturer for a new driver for GeForce Go GPUs. GeForce FX users should continue to use the v96.85 driver. Also available: | ||

| Still no laptop support.....????? Is the chipset in my HP laptop still nvidia? So why am I not being supported? I'm not a lawsuit kin dof guy, but I think I agree with the class action being planned against them. |

jimlat, have you tried using a modded .inf from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ ?
If not, it could provide an interim solution. What model is your laptop, btw? |

I'll give that a shot...if and when I upgrade. I've been leery of doing so with the lack of support of nvidia and HP (for my photosmart 1215 printer). I've got a pavilion zv5410US. It's got an nvidia gforce4 440go 64m card. This post was edited by jimlat on Thursday, May 03, 2007 at 09:18. |

Note that a post on lv2g's forum
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?s=994cefd2baea424e1ee27c8bcf53ce9a&showtopic=12998 mentions compatibility issues with that GPU and an older version of NVIDIA's drivers (using a modded inf).
