The Hardware Group at Microsoft Corp. continues to lead in desktop technology innovation with the introduction of the entirely new, proprietary Microsoft® IntelliEye™ optical sensor, marking another milestone for the company that introduced the optical mouse category. Microsoft's new IntelliEye technology offers twice the performance of any other platform in the world. "We wanted to deliver the best-possible optical mousing experience, so we developed our new IntelliEye technology from the ground up," said Melinda Graetz, product manager for the mouse line at Microsoft. | Yeah there does seem a lot of games who are not too pleased with the optical mice and maybe this will change their views. I for one haven't actually had any problems in any of the games I have used mine on though. |

By increading the sample rate, it can take pictures faster, meaning that a) moving the mouse will look smoother on the computer, and b) will make it so you can move the mouse faster w/o it skipping. |
