Genuine Windows Vista sold only 244 copies in whole of China | |

Whilst Microsoft was bragging about the sales number of their latest OS Windows Vista, few would actually know that they have only managed to sell 244 copies in the whole of China in the first 2 weeks. You heard that right, and that’s the number quoted from the headquarters of the Windows Vista chief (90% national volume) distributor in Beijing. | ||

Now this is a BIG problem and not likely to get better any time soon.
Its akin to what's happening in the Sudan. Sudan's double digit GDP growth is currently being largely underwritten by the Chinese. The EU and the USA have extreemly limited leverage in this regard in spite of sanctions. |

| 244 is probably the number of duplicating machines dedicated to the pirating effort. |
