Chicago (IL) - If you purchased a PC before January 30 and took advantage of the Vista Express Upgrade program, you know by now that this program is everything else but "Express". In fact, three of the five largest PC vendors in the U.S. have confirmed to TG Daily that - almost four weeks after the launch of the OS - no Vista Express Upgrades have shipped to their customers yet. | ||

This is news?? "Something could possible happen, maybe." The truth is that the OEMs don't want to be on the hook for the massive volume of tech support calls from people complaining that Vista doesn't run their games, doesn't run their apps, there are no drivers for it (yoohoo nVidia, I'm looking at you), and the driver that are available are immature at best and crashalicious at worst.

Well, they lost me on their server!! Now my order in not found!! Well this was a extreme short dream it only took them 2 weeks to lose my details
Now I have been back and forth with these people since my post and I still do not understand what want from me. I emailed all the details and receipts that I got once completing the transaction and process but they just keep telling me to resend the same things again and again!! #1 How would you know? You have a PIII-500 with Windows ME on it. You have no first hand experience with Vista.
Vista runs fine on my 3 year old white box PC and on my new Dell. |

| I for one read the fine print and knew when it would be sent out. I didn't have very much trouble with the signup process and have been tracking my order all along. I am not sad that I have to wait for a while. People I know have already updated and I have learned a lot about the process as they have messed up the "rocket science." When I upgrade, if I upgrade, I will remember to make my restore disks, and follow ALL the instructions to the letter instead of hurrying along. People with computers should start reading again. |

#3: Like anyone would believe you. Vista could be zapping you with 110V through your mouse while deleting all your data and you'd still be saying it was the best thing ever. You must be special compared to the zillions of others with Vista problems galore.
