Windows DreamScene preview has been released to Windows Update for Windows Ultimate Extra users: When you install this Windows Ultimate Extra, you can select a video for your desktop background in the same way that you select a stationary picture, and you can choose new positioning options for static and moving backgrounds. Windows DreamScene video support requires a graphics card that supports Windows Aero. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer. | ||

#1, TL, remember the files I sent you a link for? Browse to that file and use it - one of which is the waterfall. There are other DC videos in various resolutions you may consider here,

#1 - This is just a "preview".
The full version will come with a lot of backgrounds, including the waterfall. In the meantime, have fun finding crazy background videos. I personally love having a 1st person view of a rollercoaster ride as my background. Opps... I just vomited. |

#5m Happy to, go to Computer | Windows | Performance | WinSAT
In the WinSAT directory are two WMV files - you'll want to copy and edit/use "winsat" vice "winsatencode" - copy the winsat wmv file and import it into Windows Movie Maker. Edit it to trim out the fountain components you do not wish to use - preserving the waterfall. Save the finished file and set DC to use it as your DC Scene. Of course, any movie will do - the higher the resolution and GPU/VPU, the better. BTW... WinSAT, as you know, runs when one first installs Windows Vista and these WMV's are part of the WinSAT process that is used to score and benchmark a Vista system. WinSAT may be run from the CLI. One may get a clearer look at how WinSAT works by examining the winsat text file in the WinSAT folder. |

Got it!
I already had that, actually, from the earlier post. I just need to trim it. I thought this existed in it's already-trimmed state. Personally, I do not want my entire desktop moving around. That is way to distracting. A nice, stable picture, with a waterfall in the middle, now that's cool. Thanks :) TL |
