The final documentation for the 1st edition of ECMA Standard 376: Office Open XML File Formats is now available for download (PDF format) and in printed form. The ECMA-376 standard defines Office Open XML's vocabularies, document representation and packaging, and also specifies requirements for consumers and producers of the Office Open XML file formats. | ||

Why even bother? I thought that the few brave souls that tried to implement a non-microsoft platform conceded defeat and slowly came back to the light

Corel and Novell have announced support for OpenXMS via Wordperfect and OpenOffice. http://blogs.zdnet.com/Berlind/?p=204 IBM plans to ban it from all work sites and will refuse to work on it at all sites that contract out IBM services.* * Just kidding IBM will do anything for a buck. |
