Microsoft Exchange's official availability set for December | |

Development of Microsoft’s Exchange Server 2007 won’t be completed until sometime in December, and the software will be made available shortly thereafter even though the company plans to launch the server at an event in late November. Microsoft officials have confirmed that Exchange 2007 won’t reach release to manufacturing, or RTM, until sometime in December. Once that milestone is reached, however, the software will be available within a few days. | ||

| This and Microsoft's ISA Server are my favorites to work with. I have been in the labs for E2K7 for a while and we are very excited about easing our integration of all forms of communication. We've already integarted and pushed to local and remote desktops, video, voice, data, collaboration, VM, and of course, rich text messaging [email] via full MS MAPI clients [RPC over HTTPS], but certainly are looking forward to making all of this easier and less costly - E2K7 is a good start and moves this up the field a long way. |
