RealNetworks to Launch Pocket PC Player | |

RealNetworks said on Tuesday it plans to launch a version of its RealOne media player that will run on arch rival Microsoft's pocket PC. Seattle-based RealNetworks is expanding into new areas, such as powerful mobile phones and portable computers, from its base in personal computers (PCs), where it has been battling for dominance against Microsoft for many years. Microsoft offers its own media player (a program that allows video and audio clips to be played over your PC) as part of its operating system Windows XP. | ||

That's OK. It just shows that Pocket PC is REALLY gaining popularity out there, and it also shows how flexible a device running Pocket PC O/S is.
AWBobStein ...I agree. By the way, download the trial version of TweakMagic, so that all of you can remove the hidden start command of RealOne. Somehow REAL manage to hide the command line from MSConfig's startup tab. Ah, #8 ...who ever you are, I know that MS will eventually take over, but the fact of the matter is at this moment, Pocket PC devices are just starting to gain ground in the PDA market. I would have not made my comment a while back if I didn't know what I'm talking about.
You might want to take a look at your facts first before you post. FYI ...I support PDAs, so I know what's out there. |
