Oh ya!
I installed this last nite and now messenger button doesn't work in the IE. It says "The proceure entry point Sizeo&Resource could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL" What kind of error is this? I never had this before; only after I installed JAVA-JM Security Fix. belto... |

I'm wondering why MS doesn't phase out Java VM/Applet support in IE.
I mean the Java version their VM uses is <1.2 which means it doesn't support Swing, collections, or any of the advanced features in the new Sun Java2 (1.2) spec. It's almost worthless to have a <1.2 VM anymore. MS should just abandon Java in their product and allow Sun to continue with it's Java 1.2 JRE Plug-in which allows applets written to the Java2 (1.2) spec. This would be better for everyone. Better for MS in that they no longer have to support an obsolete technology, better for Sun in that more people will use their Java2 platform, and better for the users because they get a better experience. |
