Adaptec ASPI 4.70 Released with Support for Windows XP | |

Adaptec has just released the new version 4.70 of its ASPI layer used by many programs to access external storage devices. This new version is compatible with Windows XP 32 & 64bits and fixes a few bugs that occured with Windows NT 4.0 & Windows 2000. If one of your program require the ASPI layer to be installed, download this new drivers set:

Got it!! I used the alternative ftp, which needed no password.
Tailgunner, ASPI is Adaptec's way of communicating with SCSI devices(sometimes atap). You only need it if you have programs that use it like cdrwin, fireburner etc. Most new programs use the SCSI API's native to windows. |
