| I was playing around with this a bit earlier... very cool stuff!! Kind of drops you in a rather seedy part of SF, though... just a block or two from "live nude dancing"--no, you can't see in the door. :P |

| Wow, that is cool. It's very rough, but there's great potential there. In addition to this "driving simulator" experience, I'd really like to see this sort of thing added to the regular map experience. For example, while you're looking at the top-down map, you could activate a tool that would pop up a small street-level image. That would be more useful and easy to use, in my opinion. I hope that better integration with the regular mapping engine is planned, because the concept looks very cool. Imagine being in a new city and being able to use visual cues to know where to go, instead of the awful chore of reading street names and, particularly, addresses. |
