The new district court judge in the Microsoft antitrust case on Wednesday ordered the parties to report on the remaining issues for the court to resolve by Sept. 14 and set a meeting on the status of the case for Sept. 21. Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly said Microsoft and the U.S. government should also identify ways to resolve the remaining issues, whether any additional evidence needs to be presented and a proposed schedule. The status meeting was set for Sept. 21 at 9:30 a.m. (1330 GMT) according to the judge's order. Earlier Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Justice filed a motion with the federal district court requesting that an expedited schedule be set in the landmark antitrust case.
