I honestly doubt that anyone can 'solve' SPAM and it was stupid of Gates to say that MS would do it. Of course, they have to make Gates look good by redefining the meaning of the word 'solve'. In this context, most of us thought they meant solve = eliminate, while to MS solve = minimize. Most of us were already 'solving' SPAM with mail filters long before MS mentioned it.
