Memo to all those who received new PCs loaded with Windows XP over the holidays: Download the new security patch from Microsoft now! (See the links at the bottom of this page.) For all other XP users and those who have added Universal Plug-n-Play (UPnP) to a Windows 98/98SE/Me system, pay attention as well. Microsoft has documented a vulnerability first reported by eEye Digital Security, the same folks who found the Code Red worm last July. But because of the holidays, I don't think everyone was paying attention. | ||
