If you do get an XBOX and an HDTV, be sure to get component cables for it and not S-Video for the best picture quality. |

#7 - Good info, thanks! I don't know if I will buy a Xbox or not, but I'm definately doing the HDTV widescreen.
As far as some of the comments on the price of wire. Honestly, it is more complicated than that. Monster Cable certainly does do a lot of marketing crap, but they also happen to make some really good cables for particular purposes. |

| #7 - yeah there seemed to be a batch of 3rd party cables that wouldnt work with dolby digital properly early on (happened with the Microsoft A/V pack sometimes too). |
