Funny you mentioned that, RedHook.
I literally just read the "bad points" about the mouse, and I was thinking that while the author, obviously, thinks that wireless is good, I personally HATE wireless mice. They are laggy, heavy, and suck batteries like nothing else. Not to mention connection problems from time to time. Wired mice just work a lot better. |

Get a good wireless mouse like an mx1000. Best mouse currenty avaliable. There is no lag. i use it to play FPS with no noticeable difference. put it in the docking station to charge - although a charge will last 21 days on normal use as it is a laser mouse with no led. as for heavy - you geeks need to hit the gym a little more cause that is just sad :)

I actually have the MX1000 on another system (costs like $80-$90 too).
Heaviest mouse I've ever used. The problem is it just drags on the desk so much. Really hard to play minesweeper with it too. |

i'm gonna put in my vote for wired mice.
i use both but still prefer, when its not to cumbersome, to go with the wired version. |

| My vote is for wired as well. Both mouse and keyboard... I just do not want more devices that chew up batteries. Although I must say that I was tempted by the MX1000 - until I saw the price tag and couldn't justify that much for a mouse. |

you should try it with one of those ultra slick gaming mouse pads. I have an old Ratpadz that i use. But any good one will suffice. I would suggest it for any mouse as it makes movements much more slick. |
