Software giant Microsoft Corp will explore ways to enter the Indian Internet access market, possibly through partnerships with existing access providers, a senior official said on Thursday.
"We are going to figure out some way to enter the market with a relationship with access providers...wireline and wireless," said Yusuf Mehdi, vice-president of Microsoft's MSN personal services and business, in an interview.
Mehdi is in India to assess Microsoft's MSN Internet portal's progress in the country, a year after its launch, and assess future opportunities.
