#1 - 2-3 years huh? last time i checked end of 2006 was ummm next year. see this year is 2005 so next year would be 2006 - see how that crazy year thing works. don't hurt yourself trying to figure it out though.
so by your logic they shouldn't try and get info and advertisement about thier product out there just because of the length of time between now and then. You should talk to apple cause they were spinning like crazy this week with their announcements about changing to intel processors - wait that is going to happen in 2006 too - so like 2-3 years from now. |

#3: Yes, and MS has NEVER been late delivering a product so you go right ahead and etch that 2006 date in stone. When did MS originally announce as Longhorn's availability date again, 2004? 2005? I suspect that they will rip anything out of it to make sure it ships for Xmas 2006 for profit motives.
And after your blather about their website, you never did answer the question I posed in your attack. Let me help you. I was asking how a product that is years away can deliver on the promise of anything. Nothing vapour can deliver on anything. Once it's released and installed, tested & verified, then they can make their claims based on data, not PR crapola. |

It's something called "Project Goals", Latch - I'm sorry if you're not familiar with them.
Negativity like yours is, at best, laughable. It would be interesting for us to know what Operating Systems you use and/or support - chances are that they have something to do with a dorky-looking pengiun or the name of a Feline. ;) --ScottKin |

#6: hmmm, empty promises as project goals. You must be quite the PHB at wherever you work. Where I come from, a goal is something you work at to achieve, not something you claim is a slam-dunk & already in the bag.
And I use Windows most of the time, if you really need to know. I also use Tru64, Solaris and HP-UX in my job. What was your point again? |

| #7, it was likely an innocent slip of that pen...since he's likely using it and has been for some time - so from the source's perspective, LH surely "does" exist. |
