#1 Whilst I agree that the row and column limitations in Excel are a pain - the Quantitative analysts here distribute a lot of their models which they have to split up to get around it - surely not that many users would hit these limits all that often.
Also if they skip Office 13 (due to superstition) they will need to skip 14 as well (for the Asian markets) and go straight to 15 - like Sybase is doing now for instance.

It wouldn't make a blindest bit of difference for the western or Asian markets what the internal Office version number is, cos it will be marketed as Office 2006 or whatever.
