TVShowsOnDVD.com has announced the April 19th release of Miracles -- a former ABC TV series starring Skeet Ulrich (Scream) and Angus Macfadyen (Braveheart) -- on DVD, a 4-disc set with all 13 episodes and extras. The episodes will be presented in 1.33:1 full screen with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks. Included will be "a ton of extras, including deleted scenes and commentaries with the producer, director and creator."
Since the show was originally composited in widescreen and aired as such on ABC's HD channels (as well as overseas), the question arose as to why The Shout! Factory was only releasing a full screen version. Their answer was that Buena Vista Television (the production company behind the show) did not provide them with widescreen masters, only the full screen ones.
