Microsoft urges automatic update

To help distribute its most comprehensive security update ever for the Windows operating system, Microsoft is asking hundreds of millions of users to turn on a function called "automatic updates".

It's located in the "system" control panel, found by going to the "start" menu.

Automatic updates will NEVER happen in corporate settings. This stuff has to be tested before being rolled out to 40,000 or whatever number userbase.

Updates break stuff sometimes. Your Help Desk doesn't need 40,000 phone calls about the same thing :)
