The software giant admits there's a problem with patches - and that the real solution will have to wait until Longhorn Users need to do more about security prevention, but Microsoft admits that getting the latest update patch from the Web is not always easy for consumers connecting via dial-up links. | ||

This has been an issue since Winows 95, this isn't new by any means. I too am curious as to how MS plans to deal with this. Looking foraward to whatever they can do to mitigate the problem.

I've never heard of a server that used dial-up. And given that Linux is non-existent on the desktop end of the world... then we are only talking about servers. |
