Employees are incensed over cuts in benefits announced last week, according to an internal survey posted on one worker's Web site. When asked to post comments on the cuts Monday, many of workers railed against the company, its management and its policies. | ||

#1, allow me to rephrase your last statement: In the end, Microsoft, a business, is only as strong as its most valuable asset--its employees.
Squabbling over $60 million (~0.1% of their reserves) and creating a moral problem hardly seems to be a good business move. As a shareholder, I completely disagree with this decision. (I'm already displeased with their outsourcing.) The best employees know their value and will seek to work in places where their abilities are challenged, their skills grow, and they are fairly compensated. Remember, if the good employees are not working for you, then they're working for your competition. |

I think that's self-obvious.
If you truly love America, you will love corporate profits over the welfare of employees. Anybody who says differently, clearly hates America. |
