Just in from Warner Home Video is the return of one of the most beloved comedies of the 70's, Blazing Saddles. The studio will commemorate its three-decade birthday on June 29th with a new 30th Anniversary DVD, featuring a newly-remastered anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track and plenty of extras: additional scenes, an audio commentary by Mel Brooks, the "Back in the Saddle" reunion documentary, "Intimate Portrait: Madeline Kahn" featurette and "Black Bart," the 1975 TV pilot inspired by the movie; starring Lou Gossett Jr. and Steve Landesberg.
Warner will also release another Brooks comedy on the 29th, the horror spoof Dracula: Dead and Loving It. Also presented in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby 5.1, extras include a new audio commentary with Brooks, writers Rudy DeLuca and Steve Haberman and actors Steven Weber and Amy Yasbeck and the theatrical trailer. List price for each will be $19.95 a pop.
