Windows Messenger 5.0.0482 Released

This version of Windows Messenger has been updated to address the following:

You cannot enter credentials to connect to an HTTP proxy server in Windows Messenger 5.0 For more information on this update, see the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 835971.
You cannot transfer files from a multi-homed computer by using Windows Messenger 5.0. For more information on this update. For more information on this update, see the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 835972.
Windows stops responding and the Csrss.exe process consumes 100 percent CPU usage after Windows Messenger is installed. For more information on this update, see the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 835973.

Who cares? Some people want Windows Messenger, some don't. Removing it is not better than updating it, and vice versa.
