With the release of the new StarOffice 7 for Sun Solaris last month, Sun Microsystems noticeably chipped away at Microsoft’s Office juggernaut. One of the ways StarOffice--and it’s freeware cousin OpenOffice--is accomplishing its beachhead of 40 million desktops worldwide is through the PDF and Flash export capability found in both the commercial ($49.95) and free versions. | ||
