MVPs keep bashing competition of Microsoft (Linux, Symbian) and cajoling users to get Microsoft products | |

Apparently Microsoft MVPs not only are helping users of Microsoft products, but are also officially bashing Microsoft´s competition: Robert Levy says that Windows Mobile from Microsoft is better than Linux, because operators will earn less money with Linux (and thus forgets one important factor: users don´t like to part with their money very much): Linux is proclaiming "Pick me! I´ll decrease your costs!" while Microsoft is getting right to the heart of the matter by boasting "Pick me! I´ll increase your revenue." One offers to cut the cost of each device by a few dollars. The other offers to increase the amount of money customers pay to their carrier each month by a few dollars. This doesn´t sound like a very difficult decision to me. | ||

I'm a Microsoft MVP and Robert is a fine MVP.

Yeah, it's offensive. But I guarantee you that msmobiles or anyone associated with it just lost any chance of ever, ever being considered for the MVP program.
As an MVP it sucks that people have problems with MVP's but it just that **their** problems. Our main goals are to help users and to provide our technical expertise. Our we Microsoft centric in our knowledge, of course, does that mean that Microsoft's solutions are always the best.. well no. SO msmobile and staff, go cry yourself a river. You're not getting MVP's and ranting about MVP only degrades your level of supposed professionalism. Becoming an MVP isn’t about site traffic at all; it’s much more rigorous and comprehensive. |
