Lol.
"Not only shouldn't we be slamming Microsoft all the time, but in some cases we should be embracing them. If we have the fastest, best value two-way Xeon processor out there, then why shouldn't we make it available to people, whatever operating system they want to run?" I wonder if Scott has the balls to say that. |

So they have been making products that the user does not want to buy? Seems SUN should be careful, to me it seems they have just blown their entire anti-trust case in one phrase. This guy admitted that it is not MS's fault that they cannot sell their products, it is their fault that they do not make what the user wants. |

"Religious crusade"? Say it isn't so! lol I love it. First dumpster diving Ellison can't get to first base with Peoplesoft (a deal that the very Department of Justice that he, McSquealy and others orchestrated to try to nail Microsoft with is hinting that they will block) and now McSquealy losing his mind . . . er. . . "embracing Microsoft" - it amounts to the same thing. What's next?@!#@ Next thing you know, the EU's so-called Competition Commissioner (notwithstanding the rise of state supported and funded Air Bus and countless other European states' supported companies) Monti "the Python" will shut down his endless investigation of Microsoft. |

What's next?
Richard Stallman, Eric Raymond, and Bruce Perens will embrace .NET as the most comprehensive software platform to date and will join Microsoft as PMs of the .NET NGSCB port. Meanwhile, Lawrence Lessig will buy stock in Disney and testify before Congress that he's glad the mouse isn't yet free. |
