I thought XP SP 2 was going to have a ZoneAlarm-like outgoing connection firewall feature.
I don't see anything in that document that talks about outgoing connections.

ICF should filter outgoing connections as well. That would totally shut up the OSS/GNU/Linux nuts about that. As it stands, SP2 will still be a target of their foul mouths.

An Outgoing connection firewall feature would be a support nightmare. It's also fricking annoying and not very important in terms of a security stance.
I think it's more signifigant that they're recompiling everything... including more secure features into Outlook Express... IE, etc.
This is going to be like a 200 Meg download.

Prolly. I'm sure we should expect the oh so knowledgable and unbiased CCIA to complain that due to the size of the dl, the possible effect the SP could have on security is negligable.
