In Halo you can only carry two weapons at a time, during the game you tend to make up your own mind about which weapons you like to carry around with you at all times. Picking up a new weapon is easy, all you have to do is walk over it and then hold down the correct button on your keyboard and it then replaces the weapon you were holding in your hand at the time, it is a very simple system that works really well. | ||

[rant] WTF is with all these games not having coop mode? Games that had coop mode now is taken out for the pc version... I have 2 computers at home and deathmatch is no fun at all with just 2 people. It quickly becomes a one sided slaughter. My internet connection is a whopping 26.4 dialup... no internet play for me there. I guess I can look at this as another single player only game, just like all the rest in the last 4-5 years. [/rant] |

I've honestly been quite disappointed with games as of late, I just get tired of playing them very quickly.
Last game I truely enjoyed playing was MS Allegiance. The rest is jsut the SOS regergitated into a form that is rarely even on par with the older games. |

| Are you the same adamvjackson I see at ntcompatible? Good to see you here too :) Yea, Serious Sam is a lot of fun. Actually, I think that game has what I'd call the perfect coop implementation I've seen yet. Ammo, and stuff disappears for you when you pick it up but is still seen and available to the others playing. Friendly fire option, and all that. Unreal did a pretty good job too. Another thing thats kinda cool about coop is on a slow internet connection, since you're not really worried too much about ping times, is that it kinda becomes a 3d chat room. You get to know people, and kill stuff together :) |

| #4 Byron, what are the specs of the machine that you ran Halo on? I'm just really suprised that you had issues with the framerates - I play it on 1024x768 with everything set to high and EAX without any issues whatsoever. |

| They actually said it wasn't a bug, it was just unfortunatly the way it will be - as the game struggles. |

So, basically, they are not owning up to the fact that they scewed up?
An undesired effect is a bug, no matter how you look at it. |
