BIG BLUE IS TAKING on the Vole at its own game, it is expected to announce today.According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Big Blue will say that it is to introduce software for the samll to medium business which will undercut Microsoft's prices by around a quarter.That could possibly provoke a software price war, if IBM is successful in marketing its products, always the Achilles' Heel for the big tin behemoth. | ||

Why would I bother installing SP4 on any box I have until at least MS has gotten behind it for public use.

Whenever I read such news it always remind of that joke:
Pope was very upset about the journalists because they always wrote negative things about him. One day he decides to invite all the journalists by a river to impress them all. He would do such a magic that even the journalists wouldn't be able to criticize him... He walks on the river passes to the other side. The day after, the headline of the newspaper: Pope can't swim! This is basically what the newspapers have been doing to Microsoft for the last a few years. |

mOOzilla - That must mean Microsoft plans to announce it on friday. That's usually their timing, get it up for download on the distributed servers then announce on the last day of the week.
